back when i was 17 i bought a no name LCD tv for my truck and i loved it . it was cheap like $100 bux and the quality was awesome .. i used one of those blaukpunt stand along eve players for the truck and it was great... sometimes you just have to take the chance :)
most of these electronics are made by the same people that make the sony/pioneer .. the bigger companies just pay to put their name on the units.. i'd rather cut out the middle man and save a bundle on the unit
