The black steel cap one from PepBoys is awful and hops a lot. The Channel Locks work, but there's not really enough room in that area so you have to tilt the pliers down and that makes it real hard to get a good solid grip. The AST is an all aluminum casting and fits like a glove!

I have plastic unit for a couple bucks for doing my sister's car, How much is this piece? Would be C-O-L-D in winter!
