For all of you getting trees this year, please remember to recycle them. If you aren't sure how to please contact the folks that pick up your trash, your City Manager's office or an equivalent local government office. Also check your local CraigsList as individuals may be offering to come pick them up.

Pine and Fir trees can be turned into paper, dowels, toothpicks, popsicle sticks, tongue depressors, mulch, firewood, anti-erosion roll filler, etc. They do a whole lot more good that way than as a landfill filler.

damnit the landfill needs to smell good too.....
