Loose Steering
I know this is going to sound odd, but bear with me. I need advice about my 2007 sedan with front wheel drive.
During the winter months in temps of 30 or lower my steering wheel and wheels seem very "loose" and I feel like I have little control over the car. When I turn the steering wheel from right to left and vice verse there is little tension and it turns rather easily. The car was recently checked out and no issues were found. The alignment is fine and I haven't had an warning lights. Taking into account snow and icy roads I understand some control issues. But even when driving on cleanly plowed roads it still seems dicey. I've had no issues with this in the warmer seasons, only winter. I'm looking for any guidance on this before I buck up and call service or have to take it in. I've asked a few people and they say it's normal. Many thanks. |
