Wrong cruise control kit...
So, sometime before the hack I posted about problems with my Rostra cruise control cutting out whenever my <automatic> transmission downshifted on slight grades...
Well, I was cleaning out the garage today and I found the original receipt and installation instructions. The receipt shows I ordered the kit for the auto transmission, but the installation instructions are for part #250-1797, general applicability: manual transmission... F@#$!!! So, now I understand why it cuts out.. It's been nearly 2 years since the purchase was made, and I did the install myself... Anyone out there have any suggestions on how to modify the unit to act properly with the auto transmission? Or am I just fucked...
