I always change the shims ( as they are 9/10 times already glued to the backing plate)

and I always change the clips, springs, etc as they are designed to not be re-used.....I mean that's how I learned in school, in shops and on my own cars... but then again every car IS different so it's best to read the service manual...


but why did the O.P buy the pads?
