err.. CAI filter rubs on splashguard...
well, I was hoping I was crazy, but on a hard right turn, I can hear the drivers side tire rubbing on the splashguard, and when I looked, the splashguard is pushed out by the intake filter. 185/60/15 winter tread, shouldnt do that.
before I get aggrivated and throw my stock box back in, has anyone else had this issue and is it as simple as bending the bracket that bolts up where the old box sits? ![]() noticing the position of the outlined bracket above, mine is not bent like that, it is at a 90 degree angle to the intake, I just wanted to ask before I took the bumper of again. thanks for putting up the noobish questions EDIT: Just noting that this is not my intake, but the piping is the same.. |
