The whole oiled filters causing a dirty MAF is the result of stupid people thinking together on the internet, MAF sensors go through a self-cleaning cycle every time you start the car. A dry filter is fine for normal street use, but oiled filters will do better in dirtier environments, and prechargers help in both cases.
