Hmmm I'm not sure about USDM cars but mine has a little sticker in the gas door that says it's fine to use with gasohol (what they call the ethanol mix here, it's about 10% too). I'd think Toyota would know it is a common fuel mixture now and whatever components that could be affected, wouldn't be?
Ethanol is certainly not the greatest thing to happen to automobiles, but it is here to stay...
