"Tok" Sound when braking at low speeds (less than 10kmph) - Toyota Yaris Forums

Mine's been doing the same thing. I got behind the front wheel with a flashlight and discovered a rock in the hollow part of the brake rotor. I could see it through the vent holes in the backing plate. It only makes noise at low speed because centrifugal force holds it outward when the wheel is spinning faster.
I think I have to remove the brake caliper and pull the rotor off to get it out. I'm not sure how it got in there, but I have a gravel driveway and packed snow may have forced it in.
