I agree with you, almost any job is better than sitting at home, even if it isn't your dream job or whatever.

There is always opportunity to learn something, and make contacts, or even make friends who in turn might tell you about opportunities down the road, it happens, or not, but you never know.

So keep an open mind, keep a good attitude and do the best you can. That's all you can do, do your best and see what happens next.
