Volume of iPod connected to AUX is low

Hello Happy Yaris owners.

I just goy my Blazing Blue Yaris LB last Friday. What a fun car. :)

I do have a question... I have a iPod Mini and connected it via AUX port using a mini stereo cable. For some reason, the sound output of the iPod through the speakers are much lower than the sound I get from the FM stations.

For example, when I listen to radio at volume setting 20, I would have to turn the volume to 35-40 to listen to the iPod.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a work around? Do I need a differrent mini stereo cable?

Thank you for your kind response. :)
