I've had my Wrangler for 10 years and the only thing I've done to it is replace the clutch. The engine is virtually bulletproof. The only downside is the lack of power in the upper gears, but that's to be expected to some degree. The fact that it's the exact opposite of aerodynamic doesn't help much around here either (too much wind resistance). Other than that it's been a real work horse that's a lot of fun to take up into the mountains.
