You're right about the weight and wheelbase differences. I'm especially puzzled by why the sedan weighs LESS than the LB. I'll never understand that one.
Also I'm convinced there's slightly higher drag ratio on the LB than the sedan due to less of a slope angle on back window of the LB. It could probably also explain why the entire rear end gets filthy so quickly.
