Difference between 2007 and 2008 Yaris?

Just a quick question if anybody has the answer.....

I bought my Yaris new in Puerto Rico in 2008 (3 door Liftback, 5 Speed), I've since shipped it to the states where I drive it now-

Are there any appreciable differences between the PR and US domestic models of that year? Just curious. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks. It was just kind of odd that when I took it to a Toyota dealer here they asked me where I got the car (and a couple of the garage guys were eyeballing it like they hadn't seen one before), as if there was something different about it--they didn't elaborate, and I was in a hurry.......

Maybe it was the Puerto Rican License plates still attached........
