1 post and suspension question

I just got an 08 Toyota yaris HB. I really like the car so far and it gets amazing gas mileage ! Recently, though I've noticed a weird front suspension sound.
When I first start my car and drive it when I go over uneven pavement or a bump I hear like a crunching sound from the front end . Anyone notice this in theirs . May be my imagination but seems to be worse when cold or raining. Almost sounds like something needs to be greased? Once I drive the car a bit I don't seem to hear it. Any input would be great!
