I have basically the same setup as BEEF, plus the lightweight pulleys and 1zz tb. I did not feel a torque loss after installing both the header and exhaust, and there was a significant improvement performance-wise. Climbing steep hills is no longer such a big issue in my case.
BTW, I agree that there's probably 90% chance that the difference between 4-1 and 4-2-1 is negligible in our case.
