good to know i've wasted ALOT of time opening everything trying to figure that part out. Everything about their stupid instruction seems wrong.
1)"For 2012 Yaris: Using a "Torx" Driver, push in the 3 snap rings to disengage it from the 3 pins" - After checking out this site, i realized a flat head screw driver should do the trick.
2)The template cut didn't make sense - 1.5 inch hole saw is not needed. It was simpler to just use a razor to cut out a rectangle for the piece. As for the 1/4 pilot hole, i never understood what it was for.
3) If you're right about the "BLACK ECM CONNECTOR C20 IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT ON THE PASSENGER SIDE FIREWALL", that's more wrong info from them for page 6 (steps 1-3)
Their instructions are the worst (
http://www.rostra.com/manuals/250-1836_Form5370A.pdf). This was suppose to be specifically for the 2012 yaris. I see that you have also mentioned similar instructions within the forum matching theirs on page 7 (steps 5 to 7).
Do i still need to do this? BTW, can you PM me on how to buy from you?
