Question replacing head gasket.
I am replacing the head gasket on my 07 Yaris and have hit a snag.
I have removed the valve cover, timing chain cover, and all associated parts with that. My issue is that I am now stuck on what position the engine needs to be in before I mark the cam gears and timing chain then remove them. I thought it would be TDC however the book is not clear and I believe the Yaris has an interference head so I do NOT want to mess this up. Does anyone know what position the crank should be in before marking and removing the timing chain? Any other suggestions for this job would also be greatly appreciated.
