Yaris 2007 vs 2008 vs 2011 MPG?

Hi I recently change my job with new one and the new one is much far away, so i'm looking to buy a Yaris hatchback with manual transmission, but wen I checked online the MPG for 2007 is 34 city and 40 highway, the 2008 model 29 city and 36 highway and for 2011 is the same as 2008!

Is it really 2007 better on gas from the later models?

I have good deal for 2011, but if somebody can tell me what mpg to expect from it will be more easy to me to make a decision?

Thank you in advance and and excuse me for my crappy English :P

Best!
