I'm a pokey, relaxed driver by nature, so the Yaris, like the standard Corolla, Civic, Fit, etc. have plenty of pep by my standards (most cars in this class have very similar HP-to-weight ratios). Anything that can go from 0-60 in about 9-10 seconds is fine by me.
 Anything quicker tends to lead to trouble anyway.
