Just as an update I went ahead and sold the yaris and purchased a 2015 Corolla LE Eco to replace it. The price difference between the Yaris and Corolla here in Miami was almost nonexistent.
I still love the yaris but right now I had to move on, not sure how I feel about the CVT yet but I'm already seeing 43 avg MPG in the Corolla and racked 300 miles on it :D
