i have a 2005 ECHO 4 dr auto and body roll question

ive looked at several suspension mods,im not trying to make a racecar out of it just want to know what the bare minimum is i need to do to get it handle better in corners and at highway speeds for it to not wander,maybe dropping it 2 inches or maybe better tires or sway bars or bushings?,not sure i want much wider tires maybe one or two sizes wider,i dont want to hurt its gas mileage, ty
