Anybody have an OEM leather shift boot?
I bought a leather shift boot that I suspect is not OEM.
the leather is blue cloth backed. the boot does not use the trim ring and has it's own clips. the trim ring area is not the exact same shape as the opening, rather straight pieces with angles that generally form the shape of the opening. the leather is stapled to the trim ring. there is not any markings anywhere on it; no production or Toyota marks. the clips are different than the trim ring. the bag was sealed with the Toyota parts sticker, not production sealed. the parts sticker peeled easily from the bag. I can take pictures, but I thought i'd just ask. thanks! |
