Yet another back-up camera thread...
Hello everyone, sorry to bug you all with this, but I've been trying to figure out where i've gone wrong with wiring my reverse camera for some time now.
I just can't wrap my head around it... I believe i've connected everyting the right way. The reverse trigger on my head-unit (purple wire with reverse tag attached) is connected to pin 22 of connector 4B of the fusebox behind the driver side dash. The "+" suppy for the camera is connected to the same pin, and the "-" I've attached to a bolt on to the body of the car, to ground it. When i switch to reverse, the image display on the head-unit switches to the camera, so that works, but for some reason i still have a "No Signal" message being displayed, and a completely black screen. Where have I gone wrong? Do I need to find a different "+" ACC power supply? Does the reverse trigger wire not provide 12V+ power to the headunit when reverse is selected? I will double check the connections again and make sure i didn't miss something.
