Last oil was Pennzoil synthetic 5w30 and one before that was supertech 5w30 synthetic.

I would think that it's not too cold for the oil, even a 10w30 probably would be ok with these temps.

ya you should be fine, the oil can easily withstand those temps due to it's very low pour point
