I have a wildly variable work week, being the sole IT guy for a company that writes wireless applications for cell phones. Some weeks I can do 80+, other weeks I might only put in 10 or 20 and use self-tracked comp time for the rest.

I have my own office, pretty much make my own schedule and am salaried. As long as everything runs smoothly (which is no easy feat) I usually don't gather much attention.
