Catalytic converters
I heard talk of local (Asian Market) Yarii having two catalytic converters, and some guys who go for an aftermarket exhaust header remove one of them to get less restriction down the pipe.
I've got the Yaris Repair Manual PDF but it doesn't seem to talk about this. I'm just curious to know if there really is two catalytic converters under the Yaris, and the implications of removing it (emissions, premature failure of remaining catalytic converter, performance). Have any of you guys over there done it?

Not sure if there is a resonator or a second catalytic converter, but it looks rather like a c.c. Boring part is those are welded on the central pipe, it's going to be an expensive repair if the pipe fails.
