When I lived in a much smaller town the Canadian health care system rocked. No waits, great service. Now that I live in the GTA the service is wretched. You wait at least an hour past any appointment you've made and if you have no appointment you're waiting several hours for a few seconds of their valuable time. My wife's doctor just moved to an office with 6 waiting rooms seats, 2 doctors and the wait times.... last time we waited for over 2 and a half hours standing for what I timed as a 1 minute and 45 second meeting. You don't want to be like Canada here, you want to be like some European countries though. |
