Well Lita, they're not exactly morons -- the directions indicated to use the incorrect wires from the start. That's why me and Scott had created the same issue for ourselves. They did exactly what they were supposed to, it's more or less the companies fault for putting out the wrong instructions.

My kit told me to use the correct wires that you have listed in the picture. If I were you, I would contact the company that made your kit and tell them that their instructions are wrong.

I got it from a1electric...cant remember right off hand what the brand was. I know it wasnt the Valet 712. a1electric sent me a wiring diagram that was specific to Toyotas.
