Does anyone know if this actually reduced drag and increased MPG?

THAT is very cool! ...also cool that you have access to a lift. Many years ago I worked at a gas /service station, and having that hydraulic lift was SUCH a nice side benefit!

Changing oil is easy. Less than 5 minutes of total added time to take the panel off and put it back on.

I have not noticed any change in MPG. But my main functional reason for putting the panel on there was protection from the junk on the road. It seems that around Tampa (on the highways at least) there is a fair amount of debris - strips of rubber from truck tires and other junk ...not ALL over the road of course, but enough that I was concerned. I'd had several times where I'd swerved to avoid stuff - or straddled it and HOPED that I was high enough off the ground that it wouldn't do any damage. I feel a lot better with that panel under there.
