has anyone here bought the Mars Performance Angel Eyes headlights for the Yaris?
http://www.marsperformance.com/html/...ris-05-09.html Im a bit of a noob and doing a bit of research into headlights etc, it seems there is a lot I had no idea about. Like ballasts, HIDs and projectors etc. Im curious if anyone can offer any experience in fitting the Mars headlights, as I am not sure about how to hook up the Halos. Is it as simple as splicing them into the parkers wiring? Is it more complicated that that because they are LEDs? (apologies if I have posted in the wrong section, it seemed appropriate. And I'm new here. )

I am trying to source a set of headers that will fit the 1.3lt 2NZ-FE engine with not much luck as well as a reasonable cold air kit. Any leads for suppliers in Australia would be great. |

Hey willie, nice to hear from another Aussie 👍 who did your exhaust system? Not sure if there are many oz suppliers for Yaris stuff.... may have to look in Japan or the US, although postage may be costly.
Some pics once the pedders are fitted would be awesome! Cheers Lep Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk |

then tried a small muffler and it was to quite ended up with a "baffled" SS resonator at the rear a mild steel in the middle, I'm not totally happy but it's pretty close and given I'm putting headers (got a lead on some) on it will change again, but it has mellowed with use ![]() Kinda funny a 43yr old souping up a little 1.3ltr roller-skate but it's a fun little rocket

Australian yaris mods!!
Hi all,
I am not from Australia but I will post anyway :p This is my 2009 5 door yaris. 1.33L 100hp 6speed manual. I think it has the terra package but I am not sure. It's 100% stock right now. I am the only owner I bought it brand new. Current miles: 105.500. Zero problems whatsoever. I am really taking care of it. Imagine, I haven't even changed clutch, or suspension, or disk brakes so far. They are in good condition even after so many miles. As you see in the pictures, my first mod will be these jvc cs-620x speakers. I am going to fit them in the weekend. Time to upgrade the poor sound quality of the stock speakers. Also I am planning to do some soundproof in the front doors with glass wool, if I am calling it right to boost even more the new speakers. It's way more cheaper than dynamat products. Not that effective tho, but it's better than nothing. Plannings in the near feature: •Chrome rings on the circle air vents. •Exhaust tip •maybe a new leather gear knob cause mine has damages •interior led lights •black vvti tags near the fender's turn signals Plannings in the far feature: •Rear spoiler •soundproof in the rear doors •amplifier to boost my rms output (I might do this in near feature. It depends from the sound quality I will have from the new speakers )•windows tint •paint calipers red and put TRD sticker on them Wish list (no money no honey): •turbo kit ![]() ![]() ![]() •aftermarket pioneer headunit Zero knowledge of how to do it: •floor mat led lights •interior lights dimming. (So they close slowly) •front console tint with some brushed aluminum or 4D carbon fiber vinyl. •Day-led-lights ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by miiser; 02-06-2017 at 09:44 AM. |

Then it will be onto the suspension, haven't bought them yet as I'm hunting around the net for other (cheaper) options, but if I don't find anything it will be pedders, actually looking at king springs now as I've used them on previous vehicles and they've popped up in my searches as suitable. This is it at the moment, just a daily driver, dirt, bugs and all

How hard do you reckon it was to fit the driving lights?
