I don't think you've been around cars much, but people in the
Racing community would beg to differ. I've made these out of pop bottles and tubes in past cars. So it's not about cosmetics for me

Since it is not a racing engine, it is not that big of a deal. Race engines do not need a PCV system for emissions compliance, they run breathers and catchcans. If you change your PCV valve occasionally you dont need a catch can on a 1.5L low output NA economy engine.

Look into one if you run a forced induction setup.
