The Fit is awesome, no question.

The two cars are totally different though. The Yaris "feels" economy, the Fit "feels" sophisticated.

People who bought for economy are getting it in the Yaris, at least in the city.

The Fit does seem to shine brighter on the Highway MPGs.

You just sit back and enjoy all of your needless gadgets like USB Thumbdrive audio, Voice activated NAV System, Stability control, traction control, steering wheel mounted cruise and audio controls, 7 airbags, gobs of space, magic rear seats, built in MPG guage, tachometer, sport suspension, fog lights, and all that other stuff, the Yaris folks will enjoy what they have. Lots of cubbies and some other things.
he likes the attention and it's also like talking to a def, blind, two leg dog.

Are you pulling my leg?! This may be on Canadian Yarii but there is no LCD MPG guage on my 07 Yaris LB. It would be kickin if there was.

I love my Scanguage but it is stuck on my steering column and looks dorky.

as for the YARIS , we're not very happy with either for build quality . Last night while riding in her '08 sedan there were / are all kinds of rattles emerging . There's a rattle in the lower driverside windshield where it meets the dash , a loud rattle in back window area ( may be brakelight ) , a very loud rattle inside passengers side pillar where seat belt mechanism is , and others that pop up on occasion . There's a long scratch / scuff on drivers side door near the window from carelessness at factory when installed ( didn't notice when bought ) . The high beam for drivers side shines in a one spot ( like a spotlight instead of spread out ) , very annoying , we think it's the headlights' reflective mirror(s) are defective ) . When car is started in morning it shakes and can hear metallic rattle ( heat shield ? Shifting lever cable ( 4 speed auto ) ? ) . Idles rough when idle , especially in drive . The 1st gear of the automatic is delayed and shifts abruptly . Since we've bought it I've had to adjust the height of drivers side headlight ( to low from factory ) , remove part of dash to fix the loud rattle of the display unit , and more work to be done . So , this YARIS should be renamed a FIT , because it gives us FITS of anger and disappointment . Therefore , a HONDA Fit may be next in line .

Yes, this is true. The Yaris is more of an economy car, the Phit Sport is a lot more sophisticated. You pay more, but you get more.

I wouldn't be more happy with my choice!
