Anyone Installed Rain-X Wipers?
I bought a pair of rain-x weatherbeather wipers to replace the originals on my hatchback. They slide in, but they aren't secured on properly. I can easily push them back off.

I have not actually put them to use since I'm scared that they might fly off.

"Rain-X wipers" is a generic term. Are we talking the standard wipers, the frameless ones, or their winter variety?

I remember a thread about wiper blades awhile back and I think we all came to the conclusion that the stock wiper blades are the best ones (better than aftermarket blades that do work on the Yaris).

I use them on my Jeep and love them, as far as my Yaris I have no need to change them so I can't say.

you might just have improperly installed them. Though, the weatherbeater's are just generic replacement blades. the framless ones should better, but then they are not available smaller than 15"

I bought into the commercials that I keep seeing for Rain-x wipers. My old ones needed replacement so I went for them. I bought the steel frame ones, but only because they don't have the frameless ones in the right size.

i haven't seen anywhere else than walmart who sell rain-x wipers. but if you happen to shop at walmart.... it's the only place where i've seen 14" (or was it 13??) frameless wipers. they are not rain-x though.

AutoAnything has RainX "Latitude" wipers for the Yaris. Comes with one 14" blade and one 24" blade.
