The mid pipe for the long tube will attach to the factory (or after market) axle back section. Anything custom will have to be done by you.

Also, if I'm understanding this correctly the header will come with a custom mid-pipe, but that leaves the question of where does the mid-pipe end? And in my case I'd be planning to get a custom SuperTrapp muffler center-mounted with a down-turn tip so it's semi-stealthed, would I be better off without the mid-pipe and just getting the exhaust custom crafted behind the header?
Or would a tuneable SuperTrapp be unlikely to realize any benefits in combination with this exhaust header? Was thinking being able to run a louder but much less restrictive exhaust at the track, but a vastly more quiet and restrictive setting for daily driving.
