^^Yeah +2 on that , i've also used k&n filters for years and many different cars and many styles of intake i.e short ram, cold air , drop in filter and never had a problem with my maf . Just don't over oil the filter after you clean it and your maf will be ok .
If you want something differnt , thats a dry element drop-in filter i've seen
Blitz for about $50
C-one for about $90
and Trd drop in is about $110
