Because it's better for the engine? I don't care how small the engine is; I want my engine to perform at its peak and last as long as possible, since I do not plan on getting rid of the Yaris until it dies. I guess it depends on how you look at it. Why run synthetic in any engine?

Can you prove that syn oil, changed at regular intervals is any better than conventional, changed at regular intervals?

it works harder . Especially on interstate , steep hills , etc..
