Well, i used a small knife and a heat gun. I started one edge at a time and worked my way around slowly heating and prying. Took about 20-30 minutes. I was lucky and it didn't crack. I dunno if i want to take the other one apart. What lights do you plan on painting?

I am planning on painting the same tail lights (the only difference is the plastic that you're holding... Mine is clear with a little tint).
Thanks for the info, BTW. I'll try to be more patient this time around.
