Anybody wish they had the interior from the opposite body style?

Wow, what market gets this interior? (pic below)

I would think Japan, but this is left hand drive.

It amazes me how many variations Toyota builds of these cars throughout the world assuming we all have different standards or wants. Some things make sense but other things are simply upgrades that the US market can only wish for. These other markets better pay more for their better equipped versions!

Some differences I've noticed from US units:

- Digital gauges in some markets like Australia (I do prefer the analog in this case)

- Digital climate controls! Even our Camry's don't have digital yet.

- Push button start! Many high end luxury cars don't even have this yet.

- Leather wrapped steering wheels with radio controls on it. Come on!

- higher grade head units

- ect...???

and that's just the interior.

Europe gets FIVE engine choices!!! We get the usual ONE.

But America is supposed to be the richest nation with the most stuff?

Seems like marketers think that Americans don't have as high standards or don't care about options. There wrong.

One explanation is that they think people in the US who want nice cars don't buy small cars.

In Europe, most small cars are available fully equipped and often luxurious.
In America, they think size and class go hand and hand. Traditions are changing, and they need to figure that out.
