I like that center gauge as well...it has the redline displayed on it as (I believe the Yaris' redline is 6500), that's the way it should be!!! I'm looking for something like that. I can't stand most of the cheap gauges out there, especially ones with the big ones with shift lights on them...let's face it the Yaris isn't a drag car.

Is this a DIY kit (ie. gauges and fairing purchased separately) or is it available as a kit? Looks quite good and definitely helps to take the attention away from the center mounted speedo pod...

peace

One way to copy that gauge cluster would be to make a mold and use fiberglass.

Using that pink hardboard insulation used to insulate outside concrete walls and some whittling tools you could get it into the shape you want. Make a plaster mold of the foam and then use fiberglass, carbon fiber or ABS plastic to make the cluster surround.

Eventually I am going to go with the Apexi decs tach. It has a small digital readout that you can use with various sensors. I really want a water temp gauge so it will work perfect. I should be able to mount it to the column cover and tip it forward to access the glove box.

Good point! For those of us familiar with how to work with composites and do fiberglassing, this would be a way easier part than a sub enclosure or a dash... I could probably make a few, but they certainly wouldn't be cheap if I sold em, my time is valuable

Oh yeah, and I'm really lazy, so the lead time could be months

Myself, I was thinking a steering wheel neck pod for a tachometer, kind of like the Mini Cooper, but that particular dash pod really doesn't look too bad.

How much does the Apexi gauge go for?

I have my eyes on the AIM-Sports complete standalone dash I'm picking one up for my track car, and may just do a second one in the Yaris for kicks
