BTW, never said I gave a damn what people think of my car, or anything else of mine for that matter. Just found it strange that I've had the car for 7 whole months now but people around town chose just this random ass day to sport the dirty looks. If it continues tomorrow I just might have to roll down my window and give them the "Ice Cube look":

I must say one thing though. My father always said, "You will always need a truck, even if just once in a while". For example, when hurricane Ike passed through and took my fence, I needed to borrow his F-150 to pick up the lumber.

I do agree, most live in an urban area and have no REAL use for a truck. But for us that live in suburban/rural areas, or actually work with our hands, then yes a truck is a useful tool (especially if its partially flooded).

Another thing, for us who work in the Texas Medical Center, we sometimes need a truck to get through the "manageable" floods so that the hospitals remain open.
