thanks Mike...I tend to get a bit impatient with projects but taking my time ensures less broken parts and a better end result.

Thanks Charles, I'll be sure to report back to my buddy. The connector where you see the red and black wires coming into are just spade connectors, but the other piece is called a t-tap...very handy. The t-taps are the reason the damn install took place over "3" days, we ran to every store in town...twice, trying to find them and we had to order a special size from NAPA. Oh btw, if anyone tries finding fuses for our cars locally, best of luck, not a single store in my area has fuses small enough.
