I understand what you’re saying, but you’re confusing the knowing of the car's shortcomings when you purchased it with being satisfied with those shortcomings while you drive it; two totally separate animals.

I loved that Fox enough after that to keep it for 10 years until it rotted, then went out and found a replacement - the Yaris. I was under no illusions when I bought it, and 2 years later (anniversary is Feb 2nd) I still love the beast. If you know the car's shortcomings when you buy it, don't bitch about them later - that's all I'm saying. Instead, complain about how YOU didn't know enough about yourself or your driving habits to realise that they would be a big deal later on. It's not the car, it's you. Sorry - nothing personal, but that's how I see it. |
