I used the same shop for both my wheel changes. If you don't know what your are doing when you break down the tire, you will crush the TPMS with the machine. You have to be careful and really know it's there and stay away from it.

Sorry to hear about this. I hope it's not what I think it is.
Just curious: If they were damaged, would of the light come on sooner, the warning light came on later when I had already driven about 20 miles.

All valves look ok.

If one was damaged (or missing) it would take about 20 miles for the light to come on with system's tolerance of not hearing from one or more sensors.

Check out the following post - you can actually get the TPWS CPU to report what its issue is by flashes of the TPWS light:

I think what he said was right ^^^^

It may be that they cracked one on the changing machine and it took 20 miles for it to come apart. The valve stem you see looks to be made of metal. The part of the TPMS on the inside of the tire you can't see is made of plastic. Easily broken, plastic. It could have been cracked and then the spinning wheel caused it to break loose.

Damn shame. I really wish we didn't have these things to deal with on our cars.

I may end up getting my next set of tires from the dealer. Hopefully they know about this kinda stuff....

Probably going to end up taking it back to where I purchased the tires.
I have not look, but would my scan gauge pick up codes from tire sensors?
