It's a fuseable link...have a look sometime. Take off the red plastic cover on the positive battery terminal.

Its 2019, is anyone still on this forum? Anyone following this thread?
If I understand correctly, I am looking for something under the big plastic protector on the positive wire that runs to the battery? This seems to be the same problems I have been having...
2007 3dr RS 5spd, 380,000km...
