If you get the XP version, it should come pre-installed. otherwise you'll have to connect it to another computer or use a USB disk drive.

Thanks. How do you get it on the USB drive? I already have office on CD.

But I do plan to get the XP version with the 6 cell battery.

How is the Asus? What's the difference?

M$ Office install files can be ran from over the network. WAY back then, i used to share my office disc from my Mac, and install it on optical-driveless notebook over the network :)


edit: the asus is fine, minus the UGLY design.
