wow.. 300k miles on one set of brakes? All very flat freeway I'm assuming?
I'm jealous... I'm at 60k with 5 sets of pads and 2 rotors down. (I live at the top of a big hill  )

 I'm assuming you don't use engine braking?? You should. Don't keep it in drive when going down the hills, cruise down the hill in low gears 1,2, or 3 depending on what speed you want to descend. Your brakes will thank you.
