how does this compare to the 6LED HiLED ones? I saw a 18 LED one on ebay as well. I kind of think that 18 LEDs would be less harsh on the eyes since it wouldn't be an extremely bright focused light..

I bought some 194-wedge LEDs on eBay, and they're pure crap compared to the 194 I have from HiLEDs. The eBay ones provide barely any light output and one died within a week. Pure crap.

You replaced all your interior lights didn't you?

What bulbs are needed to do this? I'm thinking it might be a nice little project to do pretty soon.

Map/reading lights, along with the rear trunk and rear license plate lights take 194 wedge bulbs. The dome light is either a 31mm or 32mm festoon. I can't remember.
