My dream: to one day buy an entire barrel of Jack at the distillery and have the barrel shipped to my house.

idk if you guys already covered this above, but there is a way you can purchase used barrels from JD. i watched a show once on how people buy them and there's still like 20-50 lbs of JD left in the pores of the wood. they just fill the barrels partially with water and let it drain out.
